Let me tell you a little story. My story.
When I was a young girl I had one belief. Not a religious one, but a deep inner one, one that was true to me from the start. That true love is real and there is such a thing as the one.
One would think that if a child feels that strongly about something, it is something she sees around her. But no, most of the relationships I saw growing up did not match my understanding of true love at all.
Still, somehow, I kept believing. I immersed myself into the stories of Disney characters - the love they had was much closer to what I always believed true love to be. I knew them to be more than just fairytales.
But bit by bit, life happened and I “grew up”.
I started to believe what others around me said about relationships - finally burying my true beliefs somewhere deep.
All of this led into a life that was not mine, not truly. It lead me to spend years in mismatch from my true self and frankly, walk past doors that the universe tried to open for me.
One day, I now call it one fine day, I was having a conversation with someone about love and they told me life is not a Disney movie. And from that point on, it all changed for me for good. In a split second, I regained my beliefs, rekindled my inner knowing and walked away from the conversation knowing that they were wrong.
I was choosing to believe again.
That day ultimately lead me to find the one, my one true love and the fairytale that was always waiting for me. Now, after a decade later, I think it is finally time to open up to you so that you don’t have to spend your life doubting - just believing. I don’t want you to waste another second settling. I want to help you rekindle your inner knowing because it can truly change your life as it did mine. This is what Love letters is all about.
